Program

 

After the WTCA GA in Leeuwarden, the program moves to the national capital of historic Amsterdam. Enjoy our welcome reception at the World Trade Center, Amsterdam on Wednesday night, and if you so desire, optional excursions on Thursday, April 26th.

 

Note that transportation from Leeuwarden to Amsterdam is included in your registration fee, as is the Wednesday night reception. However, these optional tours are at each Members own expense.

 

Excursion 1: Keukenhof

Keukenhof in Lisse is one of the largest and most beautiful Spring flower gardens in the world. The park's total area amounts to 32 hectares. In Spring 2018 it will be home to over 7 million tulips, hyacinths and daffodils, divided over various gardens and pavilions. Enjoy the colors and scents of this breathtakingly gorgeous park. A visit to this spectacular park is an unforgettable experience you should not miss!

Excursion 2: Volendam and Marken

Discover the Dutch countryside with the picturesque fishing villages of Volendam and Marken and make a stop at a traditional Dutch cheese farm.

Excursion 3: Zaanse Schans & Broeker Veiling Auction Museum

Zaanse Schans is a residential / work area depicting a revival of the 18th and 19th century. Walk along the bakery museum and enjoy the flavor of fresh baked bread, or check out the clog manufacturing activities in the warehouse. Zaanse Schans is a unique area of the Netherlands, full of wooden homes, windmills, sheds and workshops. In the afternoon you will visit the Broeker Veiling Auction Museum, one of the oldest sail-through vegetable auctions in the world.
